Do I need to register online to receive the extra Britax Safe-n-Sound warranty?
Yes, you must register your product purchase online for the extra warranty to apply. If you have not registered online our general warranty will apply.
What if I do not have my proof of purchase?
We require proof of purchase to validate your warranty claim. Without this information we are unable to validate the date of purchase or if in fact it has been purchased first hand. Rental, hire or commercial use products are not covered by our warranty. Our warranties are non-transferrable across multiple owners.
If I have purchased my car seat in the last 2 years and apply online will my warranty be extra to 10 years as opposed to 5?
Yes, if you apply online the extra warranty will be extended to you. Should you apply at any time within the 10 year time frame the warranty will be extended however we encourage you to apply at time of purchase to reduce the risk of losing your proof of purchase and to benefit from additional communication with Britax.
Why is there an extra warranty on Thermo5?
Thermo5 is a superior fabric and as a sign of our confidence in the added quality and performance we have extended our warranty coverage.
How do I know if I have Thermo5™ fabrics?
Thermo5™ fabric can be identified by a label on the cover of the seat. When you register your product online we will identify this child restraint as Thermo5™ via its product name and serial number.
