My front wheels are getting stuck and locking to the side.
Just like a car or bicycle, a stroller may require some maintenance where cleaning & lubrication are necessary to keep your stroller working smoothly.
To check follow the steps below:
- Remove the front wheels off the stroller.
- Clean any dirt inside the wheel pivot & on the wheel pin.
- Check the screws on the bottom of the pivot plate and tighten if necessary.
- Spray dry silicon lubricant inside the wheel pivot & on the wheel pin.
- Attach the wheels back onto the stroller & manually swivel the wheel a few times so the lubricant distributes evenly.
My seat connectors are not alining with the stroller frame.
Ocacionally the seat connectors move out of place. To adjust, simply lift the backrest recline lever at the back of the seat and hold while manually adjusting the the seat connectors so they line up over the connection sockets on the frame.

Do I need to use the body/belly strap when in bassinet mode?
The body/belly strap on the Steelcraft Savvi bassinet liner adds comfort & support to the baby. By applying slight pressure on the tummy, the band helps the baby maintain in the correct position, without restricting freedom of movement on any parts of the body such as head, arms or legs.
Why is the bassinet so long?
The Steelcraft Savvi is a convertible seat stroller. Bassinet mode will be used for the first 6 months when the baby is up to 9kgs, then the seat will be used on seat mode until the child is up to 20 kgs approx 4 years of age. Because the seat is designed for an older child when used in seat mode, the seat itself needs to be longer to accommodate a bigger child. While it may seem to be long while in bassinet mode, the length of the seat will be handy as your child grows.
