QUESTION:

Why is the bassinet so long?

ANSWER:

The Steelcraft Savvi is a convertible seat stroller. Bassinet mode will be used for the first 6 months when the baby is up to 9kgs, then the seat will be used on seat mode until the child is up to 20 kgs approx 4 years of age. Because the seat is designed for an older child when used in seat mode, the seat itself needs to be longer to accommodate a bigger child. While it may seem to be long while in bassinet mode, the length of the seat will be handy as your child grows.
