Britax products are covered against faulty materials and workmanship when used under normal conditions. In the unlikely case that you find any material or workmanship that affects the normal operation of your product, we will repair or replace the product within the following warranty periods from the date of purchase.
Britax injection moulded car seats are covered by:
◆ 5 year warranty on car seat moulding, harness and fittings.
◆ 2 year warranty on softgoods supplied with your car seat at the time of purchase (including accessories).
◆ 1 year warranty on accessories supplied after you purchase your car seat.
Britax Strollers are covered by:
◆ 2 year warranty on soft goods and stroller hardware.
EXTENDED WARRANTY Some Britax products are eligible for Extended warranty when the product is registered online within 60 days of purchase.
◆ 10 year extended warranty on car seat moulding, harness and fittings.
◆ 5 year extended warranty on Thermo5, Thermo-e and Lux Collection softgoods.

Steelcraft warrants the Product against defects in materials and workmanship (normal wear and tear excluded) that affect the normal operation of Product.
Steelcraft strollers are covered by:
◆ 2 year warranty
◆ Lifetime warranty: Strider SignatureV5
For the Strider SignatureV5 Lifetime Warranty to apply the original purchaser must have purchased the Product on or after 1 February 2021 and will apply, subject to the exclusions set out below, for the normal lifetime of the Product. The Strider Signature V5 Lifetime Warranty is limited to the Product only; the warranty does not cover other Britax products or any additional accessories that a consumer may purchase.
This Strider SignatureV5 Lifetime Warranty does not apply:
◆ To products that are purchased second hand;
◆ To products that have been fitted with a aftermark accessories regardless of whether those aftermarket accessories are Britax products or not;
◆ To products that are used for rental, hire or other commercial purposes;
◆ Where the damage or fault is, in whole or part, as a result of incorrect installation, mistreatment, intentional damage;
◆ In relation to normal wear and tear;
◆ Where damage is caused by failure to use or maintain the Product other than in normal conditions; or
◆ Where damage is caused by any use otherwise than in accordance with the instruction manual or service guidelines including instruction videos and any other information supplied by Britax (whether under the Britax name or under another name used by Britax, including Steelcraft) for the Product.
Babylove products are covered against faulty materials and workmanship when used under normal conditions. In the unlikely case that you find any material or workmanship that affects the normal operation of your product, we will repair or replace the product within the following warranty periods from the date of purchase.
Babylove injection moulded car seats are covered by:
◆ 5 year warranty on car seat moulding, harness and fittings.
◆ 2 year warranty on softgoods supplied with your car seat at the time of purchase (including accessories).
◆ 1 year warranty on accessories supplied after you purchase your car seat.
Hipod products are covered against faulty materials and workmanship when used under normal conditions. In the unlikely case that you find any material or workmanship that affects the normal operation of your product, we will repair or replace the product within the following warranty periods from the date of purchase.
Hipod injection moulded car seats are covered by:
◆ 5 year warranty on car seat moulding, harness and fittings.
◆ 2 year warranty on softgoods supplied with your car seat at the time of purchase (including accessories).
◆ 1 year warranty on accessories supplied after you purchase your car seat.
WARRANTY COVERAGE
& CLAIMS
At Britax, we stand behind the quality of our products. In the unlikely event that you discover a defect in material or workmanship that affects the normal operation of your product, we will repair or replace it within the applicable warranty period from the date of purchase.
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to meet acceptable quality standards and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Proof of purchase is required to validate any warranty claim. Without it, we cannot confirm the purchase date or that the product was purchased first-hand. Please note: rental, hire, or commercial-use products are not covered, and warranties are non-transferrable across multiple owners.
This warranty applies only to products purchased and used within Australia.
AUSTRALIAN
CONSUMER LAW
All Britax products come with the benefit of statutory consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. In summary:
◆ Goods are guaranteed to be of acceptable quality—fit for purpose, safe, and durable.
◆ Goods are guaranteed to match any sample or description provided at the time of sale.
If you believe a Britax product does not meet these guarantees, you have rights under the Australian Consumer Law to enforce them. Your rights are further explained in the Consumer Guarantees – A Guide for Consumers provided by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
In addition to statutory guarantees, Britax offers a company warranty on all products. You may choose to seek redress for defective or faulty products under either the Britax company warranty or the statutory guarantees. Even after the Britax company warranty expires, your rights under the statutory consumer guarantees remain.
In our constant pursuit of excellence, Britax may alter products and specifications without notice. Products may be protected by Australian and international patents, designs, or pending applications.

HOW TO MAKE A
WARRANTY CLAIM?
To submit a warranty claim, please:
◆ Return the product to the place of purchase.
◆ If purchased via the Britax website, please email aunz-support@britax.com for assistance.
◆ Present your receipt as proof of purchase.
◆ Clearly identify the defect in the product.
◆ Make the product available for inspection if requested.
Britax will advise you whether the product is covered by the Britax company warranty. Britax’s decision of whether a product is covered by a Britax company warranty is final. Britax will act reasonably when determining whether a product is covered by a company warranty.

To be eligible for the Britax extended warranty, products must be registered online within 60 days of purchase. Registration helps us provide faster support and ensures you receive the full benefits of your warranty coverage.
The extended warranty applies only to selected Britax and Britax Safe-n-Sound products. Please note that not all products are included in the extended warranty program.
