STEELCRAFT FESTIVA WALKER SAFETY NOTICE
May 14, 2019
Britax have received a small number of quality related reports for the Festiva Walker CAT No. 30403. Despite passing all relevant tests and meeting all Australia standards we have had a number of reports where the toy bar has broken and this can result in the beads becoming accessible to the child.
At Britax, we believe the affected products do not meet our own standards and as safety of children is at the forefront of what we do and who we are, we have decided to voluntarily recall the affected Festiva Walkers. With this in mind, we request consumers to return the affected products to Baby Bunting for a full refund of the purchase price.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – BRITAX USA
February 17, 2017
Following the advice of a recall by Britax Child Safety USA, Britax New Zealand is conducting a recall on Britax B-Motion and Bob Motion strollers, the Britax Click & Go 3 Wheel Stroller frame and Britax Click & Go receivers when used as a Travel system with the B-Safe Infant car seat.
The recall involves the Click & Go receivers fitted to these strollers when used as a Travel System with the Britax B-Safe Infant Car Seats. Although Britax Australia sells Click & Go receivers for the Steelcraft Agile and Bob Motion strollers, it does not sell or distribute the USA B-Safe infant carrier in Australia.
The Britax Australia Infant Carriers are a different design and do not have a propensity to disconnect from the Click & Go receivers. Britax Australia has had no incidence of Infant Carriers being disconnected from the strollers and have not had any returns of failed Click & Go Receivers.
Britax Australia is not conducting a recall of these Click & Go receivers and consumers are advised that they can continue to use these receivers with Steelcraft Agile and Bob Motion strollers with confidence. The receivers when fitted to compatible strollers fully comply with the Australian Standard AS/NZS 2088:2013 (and earlier versions).
