In the unlikely case that you find any material or workmanship that affects the normal operation of your product, we will repair or replace the product within the following warranty periods from the date of purchase.
Britax, Britax Safe-n-Sound & Safe-n-Sound injection moulded car seats are covered by:
- 5 year warranty on car seat moulding, harness and fittings.
- 2 year warranty on softgoods supplied with your car seat at the time of purchase (including accessories).
- 1 year warranty on accessories supplied after you purchase your car seat.
BabyLove & Hipod car seats are covered by:
- 5 year warranty on car seat moulding, harness and fittings.
- 2 year warranty on softgoods supplied with your car seat at the time of purchase (including accessories).
- 1 year warranty on accessories supplied after you purchase your car seat.
Some Britax & Britax Safe-n-Sound products are eligible for Extended warranty when the product is registered online.
Extended warranties cover:
- 10 year extended warranty on car seat moulding, harness and fittings.
- 5 year extended warranty on Thermo5 and Thermo-e softgoods.
You can extend the term of the Britax Safe-n-Sound General Warranty by registering your product (within 60 days of your purchase) with Britax online.
Once you have registered your purchase with us, your extended warranty includes an additional 5 years on Safe-n-Sound car seat moulding, harness and fittings (10 years in total).
If your Britax Safe-n-Sound car seat features Thermo5™**, you will receive an additional 3 years warranty on soft goods (5 years in total).
Britax strollers and Britax stroller accessories are covered by this company warranty against faulty materials and workmanship (normal wear and tear excluded) that affects the normal operation of your BRITAX stroller or BRITAX stroller accessory. In the unlikely event that you find that your Britax stroller or Britax stroller accessory does not satisfy this warranty, Britax will (at its option) repair or replace that product within a reasonable period of you making a claim in accordance with this policy.
In the event that a replacement product is no longer available, Britax reserves the right to provide what it considers to be a suitable alternative.
For this company warranty to apply, you must make an application before the expiration of the following periods from the date of purchase*:
- 2 years on Britax strollers and Britax stroller accessories.
This company warranty does not apply to second hand or aftermarket goods or goods used for rental, hire or other commercial purposes or to any claim where the damage or fault is, in whole or part, the result of incorrect installation, mistreatment, intentional damage, any use other than use in normal conditions or any use otherwise than in accordance with the instruction manual for that product.

Steelcraft products are covered by this company warranty against faulty materials and workmanship (normal wear and tear excluded) that affects the normal operation of your Steelcraft product.
