TRAVEL SYSTEM COMPATIBLE

This displays speed, distance, current temperature and calories burned.

The rear soft outer rubber tyre, inflated with lightweight foam instead of air ensures that the tyre provides a smooth ride and won’t experience punctures if used frequently on rougher terrain.
E-BRAKE
This locks automatically whenever contact with the handle is lost. The indicator will show red when active and green when released.

FAQ
How can I best optimise the battery life?
The battery loses power by some natural discharge by being switched on, and to power the LCD Screen, but mainly by the number of ‘handle activations’ that releases the brake solenoid / brake pin. To save battery power, when the Stroller is not in use, switch off the LCD Screen. You can also switch off the battery to save power. However if the battery is switched off, any recorded Calories or Distance will be lost. The time will also need to be reset when the battery is turned back on.
How long does the battery charge last, and what is the battery ‘life’?
A fully charged battery will last approximately 10 days with both the LCD Screen and Battery left switched on. The battery ‘life’ is around 5-7 years and can be recharged over 300 times.
When the battery charge indicates ‘low battery’, how long do you have left?
When the battery power gets down to the last full bar, about 2-3 days of battery power is still available.
If the battery goes flat while the brake is engaged, can you manually release the brake?
Yes, and you can use the stroller in manual brake mode until the battery can be recharged.
What happens if the battery goes flat while holding the handle?
The brake will stay open and unlocked, and you then need to use the manual brake until the battery can be recharged.
How do you charge the battery? Can you remove the battery for easy charging?
You can charge by using the battery charger provided. The battery can be charged while still in its holder or can be removed for charging. The RED battery switch must be in the ON position for charging. The charging indicator light will be ORANGE during charging, and turn GREEN when battery is fully charged.
How long does it take to charge the battery?
If the battery is totally flat it takes about 6 hours to fully charge. So overnight charging is recommended. If you have a USB port within your vehicle you can also charge the battery in your car while driving.
Do I need additional cords for charging?
No, the e-brake comes fully equipped with cords required for everyday use.
Where is the battery located?
The battery is located in the stroller basket and the battery is inserted into the holder for use.
Does the battery get hot and over heat?
No.
Is the Battery waterproof?
The battery is rated to IP44 which means that water splashing from any direction should have no harmful effects. It is protected by a waterproof cover.

The LCD Screen is rated to IP44 which means that water splashing from any direction should have no harmful effects.

Can I charge my phone?
Yes the battery has a USB port so you can charge your phone. Of course the battery power will drain so short charging is recommended for continued use of the e-brake.
Does the LCD Screen light up at night time?
The LCD Screen has a backlight feature. Press either the Adjust or Select Icon button to activate for 20 seconds of ‘backlighting’. The LCD Screen also has a power saving mode, and the screen will go into ‘sleep mode’ if not activated for 60 seconds. Simply touch the handle to reactivate the screen. Or press the Adjust button.
What if a child touches the handle?
Any human contact will activate the e-brake when it is switched on. However the e-brake handle function can be ‘frozen’ to prevent any 3rd party interference. Simply press the manual brake pedal into the locked position; this will prevent the Stroller from being pushed away. To open the e-brake again, press the brake pedal to release the brake and activate the e-brake function again.
Does the e-brake handle respond if wearing gloves?
Yes, the handle will still activate if you are wearing normal, consumer winter gloves.
Do you need to turn off the ‘e-brake’ function when folding the Stroller?
It is recommended to switch off the LCD Screen to save power and also to prevent any ‘accidental’ handle activations.
Is the e-brake feature interchangeable with Strider PLUS or Strider Compact?
The e-brake feature is built into the frame and is not a module that can be added. New tooling was developed specifically for the e-brake stroller.
Is there a 12 month Warranty?
Yes, the normal Warranty terms apply.
Is the LCD Screen removable?
Yes, it is removable if required to be replaced if damaged.
Can you purchase another spare battery or charger?
Yes, batteries and chargers will be available as spare parts.
